A Bulldog in the House Again

Nuki (who has lived at my parents house for the past couple years) is expecting pupppies in the next couple days. So she has been staying with me. I can't believe what you miss out on not having a bulldog in your house.

A BULLDOG IS ALWAYS YOUR BEST FRIEND. AND WHAT ARE BEST FRIENDS FOR?

They are for giving you a hand up when you need it.
Listening to your sob-stories.

Giving you a shoulder to lean on.
And even carrying you around, when your too tired to do it for yourself.

AND WHAT DO BEST FRIENDS WANT IN RETURN?

Just a little love.

Welcome Home Taylor!!!

Taylor has spent the last 3 weeks in Arizona staying with Jared's brother Merrill and his wife Barbara. She went with her cousin Cami. They had tons of fun!

During the week they "worked" with Merrill cleaning pools, emptying filters, and checked the chemicals. Taylor learned within the first day or two that cactus were not friendly little fellows and will bite if you pinch them.

She was amazed by all the palm trees and nature flowers in Arizona. It was hot enough there that they actually cooked an egg on the sidewalk one day. Most days had highs around 115 and lows in the upper 80s to low 90s.

Monica's son Marcus was a hit with both of the girls. Taylor is used to being surrounded by little kids and he helped keep her from getting so home sick.

Taylor was so excited to find these sun glasses (yes, she actually paid for these hiddeous things, lol)

The girls spent most of their free time either in the pool or posing for pics. Yes I am aware of how old she looks! Are you kidding me, what happened to my little girl? Merrill taught them how to scuba dive and breathe with the oxygen tubes.A HUGE thanks to Merrill and Barbara for letting her stay and taking such good care of her. She had an experience of a life time and made memories to cherish.
Now the girls have gone home hopefully Merrill and Barbara can get the rest they deserve! On the way home the plane had a lot of turbulance from all the storm clouds. Taylor was fasinated by the looks of the clouds out the plane window.

Little League Football 09

The boys are both playing football this year. They just got their pads last night. I'll tell you, helping Traeson get his all put on and things really made me realize how fast time flies. It seems like just yesterday I was helping JR into pants that were way to big, and pulling his extra large head through the tiny opening of his under-armor shirt (not to mention his helmet). And now he he's huge and won't let me help at all, and is teaching his brother. It's fun to see them grow up but you miss the little things when they do.
Can't wait to see them in action. The first game is Aug. 22nd. The schedule will be a out a day or two before that. Check the calendar for it.

Riverdale

I took the kids to Riverdale to swim for the day. They were amazed by the "tube"slide.

Either Dodee is a total dare devil or my boys are major whimps. She will go and try anything, but they are much more hesitant. It took Trae 3 tries before he dared to jump of the diving board.

But once he did it didn't take him long to start doing the tricks. He amazes me with his ability to know where is body is in space. He missed his calling as a gymnast.

Dodee and Trae have contests to see who can stay underwater the longest. They each have their own methods. Dodee swims around like a goldfish while Traeson pushes himself down from the side.

They all went on the slide and each of them ended up a with a few bumps and bruises but they would say it was worth it. They had rubber mats that made you slide really fast.
