Maizee on the Move

Maizee started to "crawl" a couple weeks ago. She is so funny to watch. She reminds me of a frog the way she swims along with her arms and pushes herself with her little legs. There isn't anywhere she can't get now. She just recently added the tug boat noise to go along with it.

A Whopper of an Owie

Well, Dodee isn't our most coordinated one! She was running from the bathroom to the living room to bring me a Q-tip and tripped and fell. She smashed her forehead into the corner of the wall. She hit so hard she broke the plaster and dented the metal corner cover. I have always told her she was hard headed but this is ridiculous. She seems to be fine and should be running around again any minute.

Jazz Game

Jared took the boys to the Jazz playoff game against the Lakers for game 3. They are huge Lakers fans. They got there really early and got to watch the players arrive and even got some autographs. KJAZZ TV did a little interview with them and commented that everyone there was a Jazz fan, except Traeson. They got new Lakers jerseys to wear! But J.R. of course refused to part with the beloved Cavs one. They had so much fun. Their favorite part was that they could be as loud as they wanted. The Jazz ended up winning by 2 points with a buzzer beater. It was a great experience for them.

The Newest Recruit

Maizee got her hands on a knitting project. When I said "Looks like Maizee wants to be a knitter", Dodee replied, "No, she's gonna be a knotter." Dodee was right!

Dance Performance

Taylor and Dodee both had dance performances tonight. They both did great jobs. Here is some video of their dances. My phone freaked out in the middle of Taylors so there is just a little of hers. She also ended up on the opposite side so it's farther away, she is the far left. They are both getting to be great dancers! Great Job, Girls!!

That Makes 3

Well if things run in 3s we should be done with ER visits. Traeson woke up yesterday with a fever and cough. He stayed home from school and I thought I'd just watch him for a day or two. When I got home from work he was listless and flushed. I took his temp. and it was 104.3 (I don't do high fevers, they freak me out). I decided he needed to be seen now, who knows what he could have, I mean if J.R. had a kidney stone, he could have......the Bubonic plague for all I know. This time I decided to try instacare. We lucked out and April Larkin was the Dr. on shift (we've seen her a couple times in the past and been happy). She did a strep swab and sure enough it came back positive. I was actually relieved at least with an antibiotic he will be better in a 24 hours or so instead of 5 to 10 days. He should be back on his feet in no time.

Update on the other two:
J.R. had a follow up Xray on Tuesday and they can no longer see any kidney stones, so we are assuming he has passed it (keep your fingers crossed). He got to keep a copy of the Xray and that was way cool for him.

Maizee is recoving nicely. She still has enough snot for five kids but seems to be a little better each day. She goes in next week for her 6 month check up, we'll see how that goes.

Splish Splash Maizee's Taking a Bath

She is a fish. She loves the water! I had a hard time editing the video so you get to see the whole 30 seconds sorry! But she's so cute, it's worth the time, lol.
